Laura Greene, soprano, is a Portland native who began singing in choirs as a teenager. After studying under Dr. Brown with the PSU chamber choir in 1994 and 1995 she went on to receive a music degree from Berklee College of Music, Boston with an emphasis on world music in 2000.

In 2001 she joined the New York Choral Society, performing and touring extensively for five years. During this time she also participated in productions with the MET orchestra, the Richard Tucker Gala, Andrea Bocelli, and the Chinese premier of Mahler's Eighth Symphony in Beijing.

After moving back to Portland in 2006 she has enjoyed performances with the Portland Symphonic Choir and the Chamber Choir at PSU while completing a BS degree in Geography.
